ABSTRACT:
A process for forming an image comprising heating a heat-developable light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least a light-sensitive silver halide and a high molecular weight compound containing a repeating unit derived from a vinyl monomer having at least one of a group -COOM and a group -SO.sub.3 M wherein M represents a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom, simultaneously with or after imagewise exposure thereof in the presence of water and at least one of a base and a base precursor.
