ABSTRACT:
A process for forming a built-up film with logic polymers whose film inherently cannot be readily obtained by LB technique comprises modifying the high polymers, and if required, further cyclizing the product partially or wholly. The produced thin films have extremely excellent heat resistance, good chemical resistance and mechanical characteristics and their thickness is so small that it is generally hardly attainable, that is, less than 10,000 .ANG., or if desired, 10 to 1000 .ANG..
