ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are processes and compositions for dyeing keratin materials comprising, in a medium that is suitable for dyeing, at least one ninhydrin compound of formula (I)wherein,A comprises an at least 12-membered polycycle, such as those chosen from anthracenyl, tetracenyl, phenanthrenyl, and azulenyl groups. Hair dyeing processes and kits using these compositions are also disclosed.
