ABSTRACT:
A process for drying and sterilizing items, such as laundry articles, bed clothing, leather goods, hair care instruments, medical instruments, etc., in a cabinet having an internal air circuit and an external air circuit which are in contact with one another through a condensation and refrigeration unit thereby permitting drying of an article at a warm air temperature not exceeding 100.degree. C. followed immediately by sterilization of the article in a temperature range of 121.degree. C. to 135.degree. C.
