ABSTRACT:
The invention provides lower alcohol solvates of (olanzapine) and a process for making such lower alcohol solvates of olanzapine. The invention provides a method for using such solvates of olanzapine to prepare substantially pure anhydrous Form I 2-methyl-thieno-benzodiazepine.
