ABSTRACT:
A process for forming a photographic image includes a color development step and a combined bleach/redox amplification step. The bleach amplification step is effected by applying to the surface of the photographic paper or other material an amount of bleach/redox amplifier solution in the range from 20 to 500 ml/m.sup.2. The solution applied to the surface is used once only and contains hydrogen peroxide or a peroxide releasing compound.
