ABSTRACT:
The apparatus according to the invention for the slip casting of ceramic parts has essentially a bell which is arranged on a holding device and is vertically displaceable and a plurality of mold parts. The latter together with a base part form a mold which stands on a rigid plate. During operation of the apparatus, the mold and the bell covering it form an intermediate space in which are arranged a plurality of inflatable inflatable bladders air pockets which can cooperate in order to clamp the mold and prevent it from moving during the entire casting process. For this purpose, the inflatable bladders are connected to a compressed air source. In addition, a slip supply pipe which communicates with the stated compressed air pipe leads into the mold cavity of the mold, so that pressure equilibration between the mold cavity and the inflatable bladders can be brought about by means of the apparatus according to the invention.
