ABSTRACT:
Carbon black pellets are covered with rubber to prevent dusting problems. In a process and apparatus for covering carbon black pellets with rubber the carbon black pellets are introduced into a coating chamber comprising a porous cylinder into which fluid rubber containing material is injected which material is picked up by the individual carbon black pellet while it is coated by this material.
