Apparatus is provided to allow a relatively high pressure differential to build up across the filter element and layer of filter media in a filter aid filtration vessel.
A process and apparatus are provided for reusing filter media in a filter aid filtration system.
A process and apparatus are provided for drying filter cake in a filtration vessel to facilitate its disposal. Pressurized gas is used to assist in blowing the filter cake off of the filter elements.
A process and apparatus are provided for draining the heel of a filter aid filtration vessel as filtrate.
