ABSTRACT:
A transmission system in which digital data from a transmitter is received y one of a plurality of photo-isolated receiver stages according to a predetermined sequence. The receiver stage having the least number of diode voltage drops receives the transmitted data, with the removal of the receiver stage with the least number of diode voltage drops causing reception by the receiver stage having the next least number of diode voltage drops.
