ABSTRACT:
A printer rolling includes a surface layer roughened by forming a plurality of lattice-shaped grooves such that a large number of diamond-shaped configurations are defined by the grooves, each diamond-shaped configuration including two diagonally facing corners each having an angle of 20.degree. to 160.degree., or by forming a number of parallel grooves each forming an angle of 10.degree. to 80.degree. with the axis of the metal core, so as to form a continuous groove.
