A method and for printing a web page of an Internet website. A web browser receives specification of a non-uniform spatial distribution of a material surface density ρ(S) of a material used to print the web page, whereinSdenotes a point on the surface. The web browser prints the web page on a surface by distributing the material on the surface in accordance with ρ(S).
