ABSTRACT:
A laser beam printer1is connected to a host computer and receives job data100from the host computer. The job data100includes a transmission time information103. If the laser beam printer1is provided with a clock IC98, a CPU91of the laser beam printer1reads a current time from the clock IC98and set the current time as receiving time information. On the other hand, if the laser beam printer1is not provided with the clock IC98, then the CPU91sets the transmission time information103included in the received job data100as the receiving time information.
