ABSTRACT:
An adhesive comprising a copolymer and a light color petroleum hydrocarbon resin including an aromatic hydrocarbon component useful for tackifying copolymers is described. The resin used has a softening point of about 0.degree. C. to about 40.degree. C., a number average molecular weight (Mn) of from 100 to 600 and a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of from 1:1 to about 1.3. Adhesives having outstanding properties result.
