ABSTRACT:
A press-contact connector10has a first member20which accommodates a plurality of terminals21having press-contact blades21aand a second member30which is attached to the first member20and holds a plurality of wires11in an aligned state. The second member30has a plurality of retaining portions31capable of retaining the wires11respectively, formed in an approximate U shape and arranged in parallel to one another. The retaining portion31has claw portions33which are provided at inner walls32to lock the wire11in such a way as to contact with a bottom portion31aof the retaining portion31, and lances34which are provided at serial directional ends of each retaining portion31to urge the wire11in the direction of the opening of the retaining portion31in a cross section. Since each wire11is held bent by the cooperation of the claw portions33with the lances34, compatibility with automation is possible and the wires11can be held sufficiently.
