ABSTRACT:
A composition of matter and method of preparation having the formula ##SPC1##
Wherein R is ##SPC2##
n is an integer from 1 to 4 inclusive; X is selected from OH,NH.sub.2, molkyl amine, dialkyl amine, aryl amine, N(R.sub.1).sub.2, and combinations thereof; and R.sub.1 is an aliphatic radical. The composition is used to detect glycolate compounds.
