ABSTRACT:
A turntable for an adjustable peg system in a hinge-positioner fixture can be accurately located in selected positions of adjustment by using a powered locator pin in combination with a powered lock pin. The locator pin can be powered into a convergent socket in the table, to exert a cam force that rotates the turntable an incremental distance into a position, wherein a lock opening on the turntable is accurately aligned with a powered lock pin. The lock pin is driven into the lock opening to retain the turntable in a desired position of adjustment.
