This invention relates to a power tool one having a driven member5for releasably gripping a working element4. The power tool is operable in a working mode in which the working element performs work, or an adjustment mode in which the driven member5grips or releases the working element4. The power tool includes a powered selector means including a controller6which enables the operator to select the mode of operation of the power tool.
