ABSTRACT:
A power supply for an electroluminescent lamp. The power supply includes an inverter circuit for conveying a DC voltage into a 2000 Hz sinusoidal voltage. The lamp is capacitive in its nature and changes its capacitive value over extended use which adjusts the output frequency of the inverter. A sensor and timers are included which in combination flash the lamp in a predetermined pattern when motion is detected by the sensor.
