ABSTRACT:
A voltage difference is developed between the negative input side2cand the negative output side2dof the voltage boost circuit2, the negative input side2cis connected to the negative side of the power source5, and the negative output side2dis connected to the negative side of the rechargeable batteries1. Further, the load FET3is connected between the negative input side2cand the negative output side2dof the voltage boost circuit2, and an n-channel FET is used as the load FET3. The control circuit4maintains the load FET3in the OFF state to cut-off conduction when there is no power outage, and switches the load FET3ON to supply power to the load12from the rechargeable batteries1during a power outage.
