ABSTRACT:
A power offload network has a first node for receiving a first supply V1and a second node for receiving a second supply V2. The power offload network includes a plurality of switches and a power offload element providing a supply drop of VR. The switches are configurable for selecting a linefeed supply level from the set including {V1, V2, V1−VR, V2−VR}. A subscriber line interface circuit receives the selected linefeed supply level for driving a subscriber line.
