The improved power hitch of the present invention includes a first cylinder10has an extension9pivotably mounted at54on a transverse cylindrical pin54extending between vertical legs50and51to allow vertical movement, and on a vertical pin56to allow limited horizontal movement. Cylinder10receives a piston rod13extending outwardly therefrom which receives a universal hitch receiver11.A second cylinder60is also mounted on transversely spaced vertical legs50, 51at62.An electric motor30pumps fluid from reservoir32into cylinder at64to move cylinder12up and a66to move cylinder12down.
