ABSTRACT:
A power-generating electric motor (1) which is very excellent in the energy efficiency and capable of taking out an electric energy for a prolonged period of time, which motor comprises a rotor (2) made of a permanent magnet; an armature (11) disposed coaxially with the rotor (2) with an air gap therebetween and comprising a suitable number of field cores (13) provided each with a field coil (12); and a brushless control circuit, characterized by a high BH.sub.max permanent magnet (8) disposed inside the base portion of each magnet pole (5) of the rotor (2) and an induction coil (15) for an electric power generation disposed adjacent each of the field coils (12) of the armature (11).
