ABSTRACT:
An adapter is used in combination with a power amplifier in order to apparently change transfer characteristics of the power amplifier when a loudspeaker is driven by the power amplifier. The adapter comprises a first to forth terminal, a connecting circuit and a feedback circuit. The first terminal is connected to a signal source; the second terminal is connected to a signal input terminal of the power amplifier; the third terminal is connected to an output terminal of the power amplifier; and the fourth terminal substantially directly connected to the third terminal and connected to the loudspeaker. The connecting circuit connects the first terminal with the second terminal. The feedback circuit comprises a current detection means for detecting a current flowing through the loudspeaker through the fourth terminal and positively feeding back the current to the input side of the power amplifier through the second terminal.
