ABSTRACT:
A powder developer container in which an opening through which a powder developer can be discharged is formed by a relative movement between a pair of shutter members in which a sealing member is interposed thereinbetween. The sealing member is fixed to one of the pair of shutter members and slidable relative to the other one of the pair of shutter members. The sealing member has a hardness of 20 to 70, a compressive set lower than 4%. A coefficient of friction .mu. between itself and the mating member on which the sealing member is slidable is not greater than 0.8. The sealing member is compressed between the pair of shutter members at a compression rate higher than 20%.
