ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to an insect resistant alfalfa seed, alfalfa plant, and an alfalfa variety. More specifically, the invention relates to an alfalfa plant having resistance to the insect potato leafhopper. The invention also relates to an increased level of resistance to potato leafhopper and other pests. The invention flier relates to the method of crossing alfalfa plants containing the resistance to potato leafhopper to produce insect resistance.
