ABSTRACT:
Reinforcement potassium hexatitanate fiber having an average fiber length of 8-30 .mu.m, an average fiber diameter of 0.2-0.7 .mu.m and a specific surface area of 2-4 m.sup.2 /g and a composite materials comprising the whiskers and a light alloy or thermoplastic resin. Also disclosed a process for producing the whiskers.
