ABSTRACT:
Burner for a concealed flare has a fuel gas supply pipe having a low resistance to upward aspirated air flow. The pipe has outlets directing fuel gas onto adjacent plates which cause spreading and mixing of fuel gas with aspirated air. The angle of fuel gas impingement on the plates is 1.degree. to 55.degree. and the plates have a flame retaining top edge.
