ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are improved positively charged toner composition comprised of resin particles, pigment particles, and as a charge enhancing additive a phosphonium compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4, are selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, substituted alkyl, and substituted aryl, and A is an anion.
