ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a hydraulic cement composition having a boron- and halogen-containing component and unusually high full term as well as early strengths and acceptable setting time characteristics, which cement is characterized by the presence, as hydraulically settable calcium silicates, of about 20-70 percent of alpha-prime dicalcium silicate (.alpha.'--C.sub.2 S) and about 10-50 percent of tricalcium silicate C.sub.3 S based upon the weight of the composition.
