ABSTRACT:
A portable wireless device is provided that eliminates the need for an antenna protruding from an housing by including a first housing and a second housing operating as a dipole antenna thus ensuring portability and delivering a high antenna performance despite its compact, low-profile and lightweight design.The portable wireless device according to the invention includes a first housing1; a second housing2; and a sliding unit21for slidably coupling the first housing1and the second housing2to each other; wherein the first housing1is arranged a predetermined spacing apart from the second housing2and includes a power feeding unit7for feeding power: between the first housing1and the second housing2and wherein the first housing1and the second housing2operate as a dipole antenna. The portable wireless device does not include an antenna protruding from an housing. This ensures portability and delivers a high antenna performance despite its compact, low-profile and lightweight design.
