ABSTRACT:
A case having a flat recess in the base thereof is provided together with a flat hard disk drive device adapted to be fitted into the recess. In mounting the disk drive device in the recess, the drive device is gradually put into the recess by means of lock mechanisms after being temporarily stopped in the middle of the housing operation. By doing this, the hard disk drive device can be fitted into the recess with a reduced impact thereon.
