ABSTRACT:
An electrocardiograph for connection to sensors outputting analog electrical signals and having at least one sensor outputting electrical signals is provided. At least one of the analog signals is sampled, converted from analog to digital form and stored in a memory means. A processor writes consecutively sampled digitalized signals represented by a predetermined duration of the analog sensor output signal to addresses of the memory for storage in consecutive order. The processor applies the stored data from the addresses in consecutive order through a printer which prints a series of portions of a curve representative of the analog signal to produce a cardiogram extending in the direction of advance of the print medium. A magnetic tape cassette is provided for storage of data and an audible alarm means is also provided. The memory may also store programs for analysing the data.
