A lightweight beer dispensing system comprising a small carbon dioxide pressure bottle attached directly to an adjustable pressure regulator that can be set to avoid excess foaming is attached directly to a keg tap having a delivery faucet. The invention taps a full size beer keg and uses CO2to keep the beer fresh thus avoiding the problem of introducing oxygen into the beer keg.
