ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a porous membrane formed by curing at least one type of anionic monomer by UV irradiation in the presence of a photo-initiator wherein said porous membrane has at least 0.1 meq negative charges per m2, preferably between 0.3 and 5 meq negative charges per m2. The invention further relates to image recording materials, in which these porous membranes are used.
