ABSTRACT:
A pool skimming arm for releasable attachment to a side of the water intake port of the pool has two elongated, planar walls disposed at 90.degree. to each other. The skimmer arm when attached to the water intake port, extends toward the center of the pool and acts to divert a larger percentage of the circulating water into the water intake port for filtration thereof. The end of the arm extending toward the center of the pool bends inwardly to prevent backwash of the water around the end of the arm instead of into the intake port as intended.
