ABSTRACT:
A process for the manufacture of a polyurethane froth foam is provided. The process, which comprises contacting a polyurethane forming formulation with an inert gas under conditions which produce a froth, uses a formulation which contains either (1) an aromatic amine having the formula ##STR1## wherein the R groups are independently selected from hydrogen or alkyl groups and the R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 groups are independently selected from hydrogen or hydroxyalkyl groups or (2) an alkoxylated bisphenol A. Optionally a second additive which is a linear glycol can also be used. The polyurethane froth foams produced are thermoformable while exhibiting good shape retention at ambient temperature.
