ABSTRACT:
A polyurethane elastic yarn, characterized in that an inorganic filler having a refractive index (n.sub.D.sup.20.degree. C.) of not more than 1.75 is contained therein in an amount of not less than 0.2% by weight. The elastic yarn is improved in spinning property and also in light resistance and chlorine resistance.
