ABSTRACT:
A lubricating oil additive with rust and haze inhibiting properties which comprises the reaction product of an alkyl sarcosine represented by the figure ##STR1## where R is a (C.sub.3 -C.sub.30) alkyl radical and poly (propylene oxide). A lubricating oil composition containing the additive is also provided.
