ABSTRACT:
Polyphosphazene polymers are prepared which contain repeating units represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein X and Y are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of: --O--, --S--, or --NH--; R.sub.1-6 are independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms, cycloaliphatic compounds containing 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and substituted or unsubstituted aryl; a is 0 to 1, and 20.ltoreq.w.ltoreq.50,000 per polymer.
