ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a novel polypeptide which shows higher IFN-.gamma. activity than intact IFN-.gamma. and a method of producing the same.
The polypeptides not only possesses a remarkable antiviral activity, antitumor activity, immunopotentiating activity etc. but also is highly stable, therefore, it can be used advantageously as pharmaceuticals etc.
