ABSTRACT:
A multi-stage polyorganosiloxane/polyvinyl-based graft polymer is provided by the co-homopolymerization of organosiloxanes and a vinyl-based monomer (e.g. styrene) and the subsequent graft polymerization of one or more stages of additional (meth)acrylate monomers, vinyl aromatic/(meth)acrylate comonomers or vinyl aromatic/vinyl cyanide/(meth)acrylate termonomers with or without an intermediary stage comprising a polymer.
