ABSTRACT:
This invention is to polyolefinic succinimide polyamine alkyl acetoacetate of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein Z.sup.1 and Z.sup.3 are the same or different and are moieties of the formula: ##STR2## Z.sup.2 is a moiety of the formula: ##STR3## wherein R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are the same or different and are alkylene of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, m is an integer of from 1 to 5, each A' is independently selected from the group consisting of H, A and the moiety: ##STR4## wherein A" is H or A, R.sup.3 is as defined above, R.sup.6 is alkylene of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, T.sup.1 and T.sup.2 are the same or different and each comprises a member selected from the group consisting of moieties of the formula: ##STR5## wherein B' is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl-containing group, n.sup.1 is an integer of 0 to 10, n.sup.2 is an integer of 0 to 10, n.sup.3 is an integer of from 0 to 10, n.sup.4 is an integer of from 0 to 10, with the provisos that the sum of n.sup.1, n.sup.2, n.sup.3 and n.sup.4 is from 3 to 10 and the sum of n.sup.1, n.sup.3 and n.sup.4 is at least 1, wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.5 are independently an olefin polymer having a number average molecular weight (M.sub.n) between about 200 and 3,500, and wherein A comprises a tautomeric substituent of the formula: ##STR6## wherein R.sup.10 is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl containing group, with the proviso that at least one of the A' or A" groups comprises the tautomeric substituent.
