ABSTRACT:
A thermally stable polyolefin resin improved in thermal processing by the incorporation therein of a phenolic compound represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl group, and a phosphite or phosphonite compound of 0.1 to 15 times by weight based on the phenolic compound.
