ABSTRACT:
A photographic element comprises a support having thereon a layer containing a novel polymer comprising a recurring unit having the formula: ##STR1## said element comprising a source of metal ions. The elements are useful in diffusion transfer processes, and particularly useful with chelating dyes or dye-forming materials to provide a metallized dye image.
