ABSTRACT:
In one embodiment this invention provides a novel polymerizable quaternary ammonium carbonate corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## In another embodiment this invention provides a novel copolymer of the above represented methacrylamidopropyltrimethylammonium methyl carbonate and acrylamide, which exhibits a high level clay flocculation efficiency.
