A polyaryletherketone polymeric material, for example polyetheretherketone and composite materials comprising said polymeric material are described. The polymeric material has a melt viscosity (MV) in the range 0.05 to 0.12 kNsm−2preferably in the range 0.085 to 0.095 kNsm−2.
