ABSTRACT:
Polyketone polymers comprising a repeating structure of the general formula, ##STR1## wherein each D, independently, represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of up to 4 carbon atoms and X represents a divalent bridging group of formulas, ##STR2## wherein R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 independently are hydrogen or an alkyl group of up to 4 carbon atoms and B represents an inert divalent bridging group and a process for their preparation. The invention also relates to a novel process for the preparation of these novel polyketone polymers.
