The invention relates to polyglycerol partial esters of polyricinoleic acid and polyfunctional carboxylic acids, obtainable by esterification of aa) polyglycerol mixture withb) at least one polyricinoleic acid andc) at least one di- and/or tricarboxylic acid and optionallyd) at least one fatty acid having 6 to 22 carbon atomsby methods known per se, and to the use thereof for producing cosmetic or pharmaceutical emulsions or dispersions.
