ABSTRACT:
Compositions of polyesters having improved affinity for acid dyes are produced by incorporating in the compositions of polyester-forming dicarboxylic acid and dihydric alcohols quaternary ammonium compounds of the formula ##STR1## WHEREIN THE R's represent aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic radicals, said R's being free of ester-forming substituents, at least two R's being capable of forming together a ring containing or not other quaternizable nitrogen atoms; and where:
